In January 2018 we announced our intention to merge business operations with BTAS unified communications. In the past few months, we have been working hard to combine our products and services, streamline finance, vendors and logistics, and realise the benefits for our customers.
Today we want to update you on the progress of the merger – which is now complete.
The reasons to join forces are strong: today’s workplaces are already converging voice communications, data lines and increasingly reliant on mobile technologies and cloud-delivered services.
Combining BTAS’s strengths in enterprise-grade unified communications with imei’s leading mobility management services will provide our combined customer sets with the most up-to-date technology solutions available, enabling our customer organisations to empower their people and do all of this with the best proven customer service in our industry.
BTAS was founded in 1993 with a goal to design, deliver and support the best in advanced communications systems for mid-sized and enterprises organisation. Over the past 24 years BTAS has built a strong business with well-known name clients such as Nestle, Dulux, Sydney Trains as well as specialised solutions for financial services, health, aged care and professional services organisations.
As part of the merge, imei will be the brand for all mobility and unified communications solutions and the BTAS product line of UNICOMS, NETWORK and CONNECT is being rebranded to imei and will form an integral part of the imei range of converged, connected and managed communications solutions.
imei clients now have access to best-in-class secure collaboration tools that integrate desktop technologies with mobile devices allowing their knowledge workers and mobile field forces to be connected and productive wherever they are working.
The imei website is being reworked to better represent the enlarged solution set, and better describe and explain the benefits of converged mobile and unified communications, targeting a July 1 relaunch date.
