Sydney, Australia, 18/01/2018 - imei and BTAS have today announced the planned merger of their business operations to offer a managed mobile and unified communications solution to the enterprise market. imei will acquire the BTAS assets, people and customer contracts and the merged business will operate under the imei brand.
BTAS, founded in 1993, provides intelligent enterprise–grade communications that boost productivity, supercharge collaboration, and keep the organisation connected. Its rich heritage in unified communications and collaboration combined with long standing partnerships with Alcatel-Lucent, Aruba, HP, Mitel, Ruckus Wireless & Microsoft provide a market leading proposition.

The expanded business will serve 150+ enterprise and government organisations across Australia and will manage 150,000+ communication endpoints.
The parties expect definitive agreements to be completed by 28 February 2018 and the operations and staff of BTAS transferred to imei’s Headquarters in Frenchs Forest shortly thereafter.
