After over 1,000 days of no large face-to-face events, Telstra Vantage at Randwick Racecourse has been a huge hit with customers, partners and Telstra people. Taking full adVANTAGE of the venue, which, differently to previous years in Melbourne is spread over several buildings – Telstra has put together four floors of expo and three main stages of presentations showcasing the best of comms, apps and security tech, as well as the Telstra Purple Pavilion for customers and partners, and an agribusiness technology expo complete with real live cows!
Sustainability at the forefront
Telstra’s emphasis has also been on sustainability – the expo stands are made from recycled cardboard and are again recyclable; the posters on the stands are made of fabric, that will be recycled into mattress stuffing, and even the coffee cups are made from organic grain products and are edible! (Or at least compostable if you don’t like the taste). Well done, Telstra.
New world. New ways.
The key theme of Vantage this year is “New world. New ways” which acknowledges the profound changes the business world and our personal way of life has changed since 2020, remote working, hybrid working, a higher dependence on communications reliability, the role of technology and on the need for increased security.
The answers to some of those changes and challenges are in the products, solutions and service offered by Telstra and the partner ecosystem: managed services, 5G, IoT, SD-WAN, Data & IP, apps, cloud services, security solutions and so on. These have previously been extensively discussed in online forums, seminars and webcasts and in all sorts of digital promotions.
But! Vantage is live! Real people, real conversations, real demonstrations. A great place to bring challenges and solutions together and to start discussions and Q & A sessions for customers.

The imei team has been present attending info sessions, welcoming our customers and building even stronger relationships with Telstra and tech partners, and also within the mobile managed services community. Our expo stand has been spruiking our range of solutions from Managed Services to Data and IP and UCaaS, and we look forward to many fruitful discussions with customers and prospects over the next weeks, on how we can help them reduce costs, risk and improve productivity.
